I’m so nervous!!! But also excited…

My last big high school assignment is due tomorrow. I’m pretty confident that it won’t affect my grade negatively, which means that I’ll end the year with a 4.315 GPA. This is a decent improvement from last year’s 4.221. Why is this important? Because, my school has approximately 380 seniors on track to graduate. In order to receive a full ride to Winthrop the last criteria I have to meet is: top 6% of my class. That means that I would have to be ranked at least 23rd out of the 380 seniors. At the beginning of the year I was ranked 31st… But after a slight boost in my GPA I’ll be able to move up a few ranks, I’m not sure if it’ll be the lucky number 8 that I need, but I’m praying!!! I need this so badly to validate all the bullshit that I’ve had to put up with these past 4 years. I can’t wait for May 24th

adamxvass: adamxvass: Last week, in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings, I came up with this type screen print to raise money for One Fund Boston, benefitting victims and families of those affected. This attack happened just a few blocks away on my street and had me pretty well shaken up. Thankfully the suspects have been apprehended, but the city will likely feel a bit different for some time after. “Wicked sick,” is Bostonian slang for “awesome,” for those who are unsure what this has to do with anything. The red and navy blue were inspired by the Red Sox, who play just a mile west of the blast sites. This city has meant a lot to me and in the time I’ve lived here made me proud to call it home. Each print is hand numbered out of 50 and signed. They cost $15 and will ship the week of May 8th. You can get one at http://adamxvass.bigcartel.com.
